Change

Human life—in fact, every form of life, is currently challenged by unexpected consequences of hundreds of years of self-interested behavior by mankind coupled with the mysteries of nature. Now that we are alert to the risks, facing facts is step one to moving toward solutions. See http://dotearth.blogs.nytimes.com/

This link—www.princeton.edu/~cmi/— provides a complete discussion of the Carbon Mitigation Initiative at Princeton, a consortium that worked on solutions for the climate issue. Their findings, first published in 2004, were discussed by Seth Kaplan, of the Conservation Law Foundation and a Brookline GreenSpace Alliance Board member, at a Climate Change Action Brookline sponsored talk on February 1, 2006 entitled "Changes in Arctic and the Oceans Confirm the Reality of Global Warming."
